About Storm Guard Roofing & Construction

Storm Guard Roofing & Construction is a technology-driven exterior construction company specializing in
residential insurance restoration and retail projects across roofing, siding, gutters, and windows.
We are not looking for a desk-only project manager. This role requires strong field leadership, technical
construction understanding, and the ability to run production with urgency, quality, and professionalism.

Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the customer experience, job quality, subcontractor
performance, and timely completion of projects after they are sold and handed off from the Sales team.
This is a field-led leadership role, requiring regular jobsite visits, active problem-solving, and 
oversight of crews, warranty items, and customer concerns.
You will manage a production team and be accountable for quality control, subcontractor relationships, job
scheduling and progress, customer satisfaction, warranty diagnosis and resolution, and accurate material
ordering and job readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Leadership & Quality Control

● Perform regular jobsite visits to ensure quality standards are met
● Identify and resolve construction issues across roofing, siding, gutters, soffit, fascia, and windows
● Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure projects meet completion standards
● Diagnose and resolve warranty-related issues
● Fill in for field management gaps

Subcontractor Management

● Manage and hold subcontractors accountable to scope, quality, and timelines
● Source and onboard new crews across trades as needed
● Maintain relationships and ensure crews operate within company pricing expectations

Project Execution

● Oversee project flow from sold → scheduled → completed
● Coordinate with suppliers to ensure proper material delivery and job readiness
● Approve and manage change orders
● Proactively identify and resolve delays or jobsite issues

Financial Oversight

● Review and approve subcontractor invoices
● Monitor job costs and protect gross margins
● Contribute to achieving company margin targets

Customer Experience

● Act as a professional point of contact for homeowners 
● Communicate clearly and proactively throughout projects
● Ensure a positive and consistent customer experience Team Leadership 
● Support and lead field managers and production staff 
● Reinforce standards, accountability, and communication 
● Identify gaps in team structure and performance

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

● 5+ years of exterior construction experience
● Proven leadership experience in a production or field-based role
● Strong understanding of residential construction systems:
         ○ Roofing (asphalt, low slope, TPO, metal)
         ○ Vinyl and LP siding
         ○ Gutters, soffit, fascia
         ○ General water management and flashing principles
● Ability to diagnose issues and solve problems independently
● Strong communication skills with homeowners and crews
● Comfortable using technology (CRM systems, documentation, job tracking)

Preferred 
● Experience with metal roofing or TPO systems 
● Experience diagnosing leaks and water intrusion 
● Spanish-speaking ability 
● Familiarity with OSHA safety practices 
● Experience in insurance restoration environments 
● De-escalation capabilities 
● Production organization

Physical Requirements 
● Ability to climb roofs and perform inspections 
● Ability to work in outdoor jobsite environments

● Jobs meet quality standards with low warranty callbacks 
● Subcontractors perform consistently and reliably 
● Customers feel informed and taken care of

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
